Obedience Training
Basic obedience consist of the fundamentals to start your dog on the right path for success. You will learn how to get your dog into focus to learn. Basic commands are Sit, Down, Heel, and Leave it. These will set your dog up to succeed.
Leash Training
Being able to walk your dog instead of them walking you is always a good thing. I do use different techniques as well as different "no pull" collars/leads. You want your dog to be able to walk with you without having to struggle to keep him from pulling you everywhere.
House Training
House training can be a hassle but it is one of the first things your dogs should know with basic obedience. I will show you different tricks to try while your dog gets the hang of things. It can get to be time consuming but not giving up and sticking to a schedule will set your dog up to learn quickly.
Socialization
Socializing your dog is a very important part of obedience. Your dog is just like a child and they need to be able to learn how to behave with other dogs and people. The earliest you can start to socialize your dog is the best way to achieve their best behavior. The younger the better. We will work on socializing your dog to others and their surrounding.
Some things to keep in mind when starting the training course is to learn what motivates your dog. Do you get a better reaction from treats, toys, or praise? It is very important and crucial to know what motivates your dog to allow the best training and learning experience. Think of it as a school grade, if your dog is motivated by treats then find out what treat they love the most. For example if you have a milk bone in one hand and a piece chicken in the other, which one does the dog prefer. Remember the grade.
A-Chicken
B-Milkbone
C-Their normal food
D-Nothing
